Lasher poly pick handles are injection moulded around a steel core, which is virtually unbreakable. It is suspected that the handle could outlast the head. The widely gap grooved head is intentionally designed that way. So as to allow head to bite into poly material, causing a very tight fit, preventing head sliding off bottom of handle.
